MeAndMyBooks.in was an innovative book rental service based in India, offering customers the convenience of renting multilingual books delivered directly to their doorsteps. I developed the complete CRM system that powered the company's operations.

The platform supports multiple languages including English, Hindi, and regional Indian languages, with a catalog spanning fiction, non-fiction, academic texts, and children's books. The rental model allowed customers to enjoy books at a fraction of the purchase price, with flexible rental periods and easy returns.

The CRM system I built serves different user roles within the organization. Super Admins have complete system control, managing inventory, pricing, and user accounts. Receptionists and Tele-callers use the system to handle customer inquiries, process rental requests, and manage delivery schedules. Sales Executives track leads, follow up with customers, and analyze rental patterns to optimize inventory.

Key features include automated rental tracking with due date reminders, late fee calculations, and renewal options. The system also manages the logistics of book delivery and pickup, integrating with courier services for tracking. Customer profiles maintain rental history and preferences, enabling personalized recommendations.

Built with Spring MVC and Hibernate ORM, the application provides reliable performance even during peak usage. jQuery enhances the user interface with dynamic updates and smooth interactions. The application was deployed on JBoss application server for enterprise-grade reliability.
