BarnManager Platform

BarnManager is a comprehensive platform designed specifically for the equestrian community, helping barn owners and managers streamline their daily operations. When I joined the project, the existing platform was built on legacy technology that was difficult to maintain and scale.

I led the complete modernization effort, rebuilding the platform from the ground up using React for the frontend and Java-SpringBoot for the backend. The new architecture is not only more maintainable but also significantly faster and more responsive for end users.

One of the most innovative features I implemented was the AI-powered record capture system. By integrating OpenAI's language models, the platform can now automatically extract and organize information from various sources - whether it's veterinary records, feeding schedules, or training notes. This saves barn managers hours of manual data entry each week.

The scheduling system I built handles the complex requirements of barn management, including recurring events, resource conflicts, and multi-staff coordination. Combined with the integrated invoicing solution that connects directly to Stripe for payment processing, BarnManager now offers a complete end-to-end solution for equestrian facility management.
